Il était une fois…
Once upon a time...

This is how all beautiful stories start. Ours began a long time ago, with a shared dream of opening a welcoming place. This dream finally came true in the shape of a guest house : The Middle Earth. We are passionate about conviviality, flowers, animals and flea markets, and we will welcome you in a warm and relaxing environment. Our rooms are inspired by the talented J. R. R. Tolkien, and will offer you calm, cosiness, and a change of scenery amongst elves, ents, kings or hobbits. We are looking forward to getting to know you. Martial and Monique Bousch

To bring relaxation and serenity to perfection, a professional masseuse will provide different types of massages – a reservation is required.

Spicheren, un joli coin de France
Spicheren, a quaint little nook of France

The Middle Earth is found in eastern Moselle in the nice village of Spicheren, known for its hospitality, its bucolic strolls and unmissable restaurants. The many walking trails and cycling circuits will please all of the nature lovers. Close to Forbach, Sarreguemines and Saarbrücken, it is ideally located five minutes away from Germany, twenty from the Alsace region, forty-five from Metz and one hour from Luxembourg, this large geographic scope will enable you to discover a verdant Lorraine region, much less grey than the coal mines it housed for over two centuries.
